In today’s competitive world, young people need more than subject knowledge alone. Our programmes augment school-based learning, supporting students in extending their subject-based knowledge, developing their transferable skills and exposing them to different ways of thinking and working. At a formative stage, we give students the confidence, perspective and experience to make informed choices about their next steps, enhancing their potential to make an IMPACT in the world.
Established to complement school-based learning, IMPACT provides access to structured academic and co-curricular experiences that develop subject knowledge, practical skills and independent thinking beyond the standard curriculum.
We are now welcoming registrations for IMPACT Summer, taking place in July and August 2026.
UK and international students will join us for a focused programme that combines academic study, workshops and real-world projects set in collaboration with industry leaders.
The full IMPACT Summer programme is made up of two fortnightly blocks, known as sprints, which provide the framework for focused learning and development.
Sprints are structured around three core modules: Applied Learning Pathways (ALPs), Growth Workshops, and IMPACT Skills. These elements can all be personalised according to a student’s individual interests.
Further to the three core modules, IMPACT Summer students will also participate in hackathons, academic and business excursions, and a diverse schedule of cultural and social activities.
These offering all contribute to a multi-faceted experience that blends academic challenge and personal growth with opportunities to make meaningful connections.
IMPACT’s signature Hackathons are immersive, fast-paced events in which students engage with real-world challenges under the mentorship of industry experts. Embedded within the programme’s curriculum, they cultivate creativity, collaboration, and self-assurance, equipping students with the skills and confidence to innovate, lead, and excel in an ever-evolving world.
With a fully equipped fitness suite, swimming pool, sports hall and dedicated wellbeing spaces, Tonbridge School provides IMPACT students with everything they need to promote personal health and wellbeing during their time here.
